Moong Dal Khichdi is our all time favorite comfort food. Rice and yellow split moong dal are the two main ingredients. It is mild in taste, simple to make and easy to digest. Hence it is good for all ages. We serve this in sickness too as it’s light on tummy. Khichdi can also be made with split green moong lentil or yellow split pigeon peas (Dal Khichdi).

This version of moong dal khichdi is simple – no onion no garlic. It has very few ingredients. If you cook this in pressure cooker, it gets ready under 20 minutes. You can check other simple Rice Varieties here: https://ahappytreat.com/category/food/rice-varieties/
