Dadpe Pohe is a typical Maharashtrian Snack made with thin rice flakes. I have come across many variations of this dish within Maharashtra itself. I am presenting the version I love the most, which is my Mother’s recipe. She makes World’s Best Dadpe Pohe. I am sure many of you feel the same about your mother’s recipes 🙂

Coming to the dish, it requires no cooking. It can be made quickly with few ingredients but tastes heavenly. Many of you must be wondering about the name of this dish. ‘Dadpe Pohe‘ comes from the process of preparing it. ‘Dadapneis a Marathi verb which means putting under pressure. Once all the ingredients are mixed and tempering is done; you need to cover it and put pressure on top. After 15 mins or so, the dish can be served.
