I love drawing sketches of Lord Ganesha in various forms. Drawing and making paper cutting of Ganesha is fun. This DIY Ganesha frame is simple to make. It requires very few materials that are easily available. Let’s see what we need.
Materials Used:
- A wooden frame
- Aluminium foil
- A card sheet (preferably dark color)
- Paper cutting tool
- Scissor
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Ruler
How to proceed:
- Take a green color card sheet(or your choice) and cut it as per the dimensions of your frame.
- Mark 1 inch from all the side and make a border.
- Now draw the figurine of your choice. I wanted to make ‘Ganesha’.
- Using paper cutting tool, cut along the edges. We now have a paper cut of our figurine.
- Take an aluminium foil and crush it a little. Unfold it carefully.
- Remove back of the frame, place the paper cutting. Now adjust the aluminium foil within the boundaries of the frame and put back of the frame on.
- A beautiful frame is now ready. Hang it on the wall or place on the table as a decor item.
Tips:
- You can use any dark colored/glitter card sheet.
- You can make this frame with different paper cuttings.
- A glass frame can be used to make the paper cutting secure.
