Chili Paneer is an Indo-Chinese appetizer prepared with fried paneer cubes and chinese sauces.
If using frozen paneer cubes, soak them in water for 10 minutes.
Add corn starch, all purpose flour, salt and water in a bowl. Make a batter to dip paneer cubes.
Heat oil in a kadhai. Dip paneer cubes in the above batter and deep fry.
Once paneer cubes are fried, drain them on the paper towel and keep aside.
Now heat oil in a pan. Add diced onion, ginger garlic paste and green chili. Saute on high flame.
Later add diced bell pepper and saute.
Add tomato chili sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and mix well.
Mix cornstarch slurry (corn starch + water) with stir fried veggies.
Add little salt and more sauces if required.
Add fried paneer cubes and combine everything well.
Serve hot as is or as a side dish to fried rice or noodles.
