It is a healthy salad made with raw carrots and tomatoes. It's served as an accompaniment to rice or chapati.
In a bowl; add grated carrot, chopped tomato, salt, sugar, chilli powder and peanut powder.
Now in a small pan, add oil. Once hot, add mustard seeds.
When mustard seeds start to crackle, add in turmeric and switch off the flame.
Pour this tempering on the carrot tomato mixture.
Add in some chopped cilantro and mix well.
